Very nice and informative experience. There are no whales nor any dolphins. They do not hurt these creatures!. But a fun 3-D movie on the whales. Took us about an hour or a bit longer to wander through the buildings.

Did a walkabout of this historic neighborhood and came across this old theater. It is now used as a performing arts center and is quite nice. It has a great history that includes Bob Hope doing USO shows there in WW2.

The Bailey House museum building is from the 1800's and contains some nice artifacts including an old Koa wood sea kayak

It was a fun way to spend a rainy day in Maui. It’s not a large center but it was interesting.
We enjoyed the new whale exhibit.

MAPA is more than just an outstanding Academy for drama and dance. It partners with schools to enrich reading through drama. It has produced Broadway-worthy musicals such as Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Evita, Jekyll and Hyde, and Hunchback of Notre Dame. I can’t wait to see Into the Woods and the children’s production of Lion King (Jr.) this summer of 2018.

This amazing shop was recommend to us by our server at a restaurant in Lahaina. We were on the hunt for authentic Hawaiian shirts and Native Intelligence did not disappoint. We ended up walking out with more than the shirts and the fact that so much of what's in the shop is made locally was just a bonus. The owners and staff couldn't have been friendlier as well.

Great activity for a rainy day! They were super helpful and my kids (8 and 12) had a great experience for their first escape room.

I had bought a Ukulele from Mele in Wailuku about 15 years ago and was very happy with my purchase. Decided to drop in again on my trip in August 2022 and was helped by Annie. She was very helpful, friendly and knew a lot about what she was selling. Ended up buying another one and had it shipped to me. Look forward to getting it. They have a great selection and something for every budget. Prices are reasonable. They now have three locations in Maui.
Same owners for 28 years I believe. They are Ukulele experts and the Wailuku store is their original store.
