Wonderful place to visit while in Cody...only a few minutes outside of town en route to Yellowstone or Buffalo Bill State Park.
There is a nice gift shop and displays, and there is a stamp for national park passport enthusiasts, since this is a national monument.

The view of the Buffalo Bill Reservoir was just beautiful driving in towards Cody from East park entrance.
But got a lot of respect of the workers in the 19th century, visit the visitor center, just park on the carpark beside the dam and they pick you up for free in a small car and bring you to the dam and back again
