- Sandy A2 contributionsThe day we were scheduled to do the Shipwreck kayak tour the water was choppy with huge waves. Zach, our guide, suggested we reschedule for a day later in the week. We came back a couple days later and the weather was absolutely perfect-a calm autumn morning with no wind and a beautiful blanket of fog on the horizon. Because it was later in the season, my husband and I were the only two on the tour along with Zach, our guide. Zach was excellent - very personable, down to earth and informative, describing the history of the area. We were able to view the shipwreck as well as native American inscriptions along the bluffs. I would highly recommend Zach for the Door County Kayak tour and would not hesitate to take this tour on our next trip to Door County! There were many more sights and geological formations than my previous Door county tour locations. Michelle was super knowledgeable and definitely took the time to show us all the best things to see in the Whitefish dunes/Cave point area.
