    Great stop if you're traveling along the coast to/from the UP.
    Excellent wine tasting experience. I'm not a big wine connoisseur, but the wines and ciders were really nice. I recommend the Tangerine Ginger Cider. Not busy at all. Very friendly.

    Great Museum with Rich History !!
    Nice recommendation to visit this museum. We like history of each little town and its heritage of what brings it to life and we enjoyed the artifacts and rich history of this storied area. Well done and very informative.

    A pretty little riverside park
    This county park may be small, just 65 acres, but it’s situated on a scenic stretch of the Menominee River, is attractively wooded, and has some nice facilities. For a small day use fee ($5/vehicle), visitors have access to a small open-sided shelter (day use rental by reservation), a small no-fee camping area (dandy for canoe camping), a boat launching ramp, and of course, fishing. Menominee River Park is located off Hwy 180 in the Wagner community about 18 miles north of Marinette. Only the boat landing area was open when I stopped in the early morning on my way to Peshtigo, and I literally had the park to myself. The weather was great, the river was serenely beautiful, and it was so quiet you could hear birds chirping a good ways off.

    Say Cheese
    What can I say Cheese...... This iso my go to place to get local cheese when I am in the area, Wisconsin in famous for cheese and this place has anything you want. The staff is friendly and helpful, plus 15% military discount. They have every cheese imaginable form Colby to $50 aged cheddar, you must try the chocolate fudge cheese.

    Good park on the lake, but used to be better.
    This park is seamlessly connected to a Seagull Bar State Natural Area. There used to be a isthmus connecting the two, and one could walk all the way down the sandy bar to the tip of the land (which was in State Natural Area). Unfortunately, the isthmus-sandbar is gone, overrun by waves, like so many places on Lake Michigan where beaches disappeared in the last decade, and waves are splashing at the very bottom of a higher land. However, this park still has part of its charm, even if crippled by too much water.

    Paul - our vote for all-time best bartender
    Our first time to the area. Saw this place was reviewed as a chill local hangout. What set it apart from every other local bar was our bartender Paul. He was hands down the best bartender we have ever had and we consider ourselves experts on the subject. His service would be on par with any five-star experience.
