#1 of 5 Nature & Parks in Chippewa Falls
And picnic pavilions, benches for sitting and sunning yourself, awesome trails to hike, grassy areas to relax, play areas for the kiddos...it is a beautiful park that has something for every age!
Sure it has a mini zoo, but a creek, incredibly scenic lake and dam, sandstone bluffs, ski and hiking trails, and a very old rumble bridge, fantastic town park.

The old abe trail has convenient access from Chippewa Falls, Jim Falls, Cornell, Burnett Island or Lake Wissota State Parks and soon the connections to Eau Claire and Menomonie will be much less scary.
Take the time to ride the short and senic loop from Cornell up to Brunet Island State Park and back to Cornell.
