Marsh's Free museum is one of those quirky tourist traps that sell everything from shells, jewelry, magnets etc. to old plates, cups and saucers, etc. See Jake the Alligator Man for sure!
Marsh's Free Museum has an entire gallery of yesteryear articles ranging from nickle peep shows, to garden equipment from the 1800's even down to Japanese glass fishing net floats.

We enjoyed this lovely little museum and learned about kite fighting and how kites were used in WWII.
If you like kites, you'll love the World Kite Museum & Hall of Fame.

This is very different from museums on the plains both sides of the mountains.
Part of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park which spans both shores of the Columbia river in Washington and Oregon, this museum is very well done and informative.

Great Historic Museum, with a knowledgeable and friendly staff.
During the year the museum features interesting exhibits, and the permanent exhibition galleries showcase the rich history the region.
