- Marshall BFerney-Voltaire, France5,345 contributionsWhat a great trail! We started at the New River Valley Mall and walked about 4 miles out and back. Beautiful fall day. What was particularly interesting was the descriptive and illustrated panels in the former coal mining area, as well as some mining equipment - what a rich history - it is really an outdoor classroom. There were also panels identifying trees and animal footprints. There is a bathroom - quite clean - along the path. There are several security posts along the trail in case there are any urgent issues to report. We found the path to be in very good condition - it is well maintained and clear of trash. Benches and even tables are also along the trail. It looks like we were not the only ones to enjoy it on that day - we encountered old and young walking, running and bicycling.Written October 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sydney AmberRadford, VA12 contributionsSinkland Farms is a lovely pumpkin patch. They had a hay ride, corn maze, and many aesthetic places to take pictures. I would suggest this pumpkin patch for people with younger kids because they had many forms of entertainment, such as slides and carnival-like games. I bought the cutest “albino” pumpkin here for only $3 dollars! The only reason I rated this pumpkin patch a 4 out of 5 is because in comparison to other pumpkin patches, Sinkland was not the most extravagant. However, they were the first one I’ve visited to have axe throwing! I will definitely go again next year. Happy environment.Written October 25, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Harold RLos Angeles, CA2,100 contributionsThe Montgomery Museum in Christiansburg, VA is a must visit place. It’s located in a former bank building in downtown Christiansburg, Virginia. It’s easy to reach from Interstate 81 north or southbound. Well worth a visit!
There are so many artifacts and history and exhibits. It’s easy to maneuver, well spaced with fun activities for children.
In the center of the museum is an antique T-Model Ford.
My grand children from Indiana had a blast.Written March 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. These will make for an exciting Christmas gift for my parents who collect them. Very happy with the find.Written November 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Devin DNorth Carolina Mountains, NC112 contributionsThis antique store is in one of the oldest buildings in the city of Christiansburg. It is a really neat store. I would recommend going here. It has two stories. The lady running the shop was very friendly and welcoming. I am going back to this store.Written September 26, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- EureeckaNaperville, IL163 contributionsMy best friend and I were wandering the antique/junk shops in the area, and stopped here. Good prices, interesting things, a couple gorgeous tables... we were more into just hanging out with each other than in the market for anything, and I already own more tables than this shop so we restrained ourselves. But I'll definitely stop back in whenever I'm in town next.Written June 8, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
