Huge playgrounds, huge shade trees, crystal-clear spring-fed swimming and wading pools, ducks, glass-bottom and paddle boat rides, train ride, hiking, fishing, miniature golf, grills - this park has it all!
This is a great park on the gorgeous Comal River - which is a short, narrow river, but a gorgeous blue color with beautiful trees that is a scenic backdrop for a lovely walk.

We absolutely love the Comal River it's the only one we float!! It's always cool, flowing and fun!! We've stayed at several different condos with access, gone in at Lando Park and at the public park, always awesome!
The parks along the river are beautiful spots for family picnics and enjoying the native beauty of the river.

Be sure and take a cooler tube or rent one and pack a lunch to get out at the park just down the river a little ways and have a picnic lunch.
The water courses on through Landa Park, filling a spring fed swimming pool and on into a lake with ducks, fish, paddleboats.

Swim, Kayak, Tube, Snorkel whatever you like to.. nature is all yours.
this is really a very nice park, you do have to pay to park, but you can get into the Comal River from here and they do have bathrooms and picnic tables and grils for anyone.
