My friend has season passes and said it was exceptionally busy but there was still ample parking and space/seats for everyone. Great family fun and the kids had a awesome time. Plenty guards were always visible and clearly paying attention to their duties. The park and pools were clean and staff were friendly. I also love that you can take your own snacks and drinks in with you. We got to have a lovely picnic.
The only thing I would have liked is to have a bit more shade spots available because the sun was beating down and all the shade spots were taken, but it look like they might be building a structure to accommodate more shade. There are lots of things to see and the path is always really clear.
Learn what poison ivy looks like because there's a lot off of the main trail.
The only negative about the park is that on a really nice day, the parking lot is completely full. The venue is gorgeous, especially the lush green trees that provide a beautiful, natural canopy over the patio. If you're looking to have a garden wedding then the Aristide Mansfield is the perfect location.
Our coordinator was professional and a joy to work with. She communicated in a timely manner and even made sure the flowerbeds were freshly mulched and flowers were added before the wedding. It was a wonderful day thanks to her and her team.
The food was excellent as well! We were told time and time again by our guests that it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had. The Aristide Mansfield is in Texas but you feel like you're in a villa in Tuscany. Well done! - Rob W41 contributionsI thought the food was good. They have a linked restaurants with both Twisted Root Burgers and Tacos & Avocados. I had a burger and it was good. You order everything separate (i.e. it doesn't come with sides). The burger and sides were good.
There are options for eating. We ate outside. There is plenty of dining both in and out. There is plenty of parking as well.
