I think it's good for all people kids and adults alike, though due to its dark nature kids might be scared.
Nothing beats nature when it comes to creating beautiful things.

The park also has a frisbee golf course, playscapes, bathrooms, picnic areas (most covered), grills and huge beautiful trees as well as a sunken flower garden
The North and South San Gabriel Rivers converge in this park and numerous beautiful picnic areas are maintained along the river and downstream of the convergence.

Respect nature, and nature will love you back by giving you a beautiful spot to cool off in the dog days of summer, or a quiet place to enjoy the river when it's cool outside.
Visited with family and found the Georgetown has several clean, beautiful city parks that are family friendly.

They have thought about those with special needs, its really an overall great park and I highly recommend going.
It is the second such playscape on this site: the first was a community volunteer effort, while this was professionally produced for the very excellent Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department.

The sites are very spacious, the park hosts are friendly and helpful.

There is a fee station, but with our park pass we are able to enter and enjoy picnic times and walks with the dog while enjoying the beauty of the lake area without too much interference from the outside world.
The park is beautifully maintained, Lake Georgetown is clean and quiet, and the views from almost every angle are photo worthy.

The park has beautiful rollling hills, hiking trails, a river that runs through it, and a Mediterranean style mansion that will be used for weddings and other events.

I highly recommend this tent coming only park for families with kids and those new to camping who want to test their gear while close enough to home in case the gear fails.
