Lakewood routinely ranks in my top breweries to visit. They hit on all cylinders. First they have some of the best beers around. Their Temptress Stout and BBT (Bourbon Barrel Temptress) are very popular and widely distributed. You can find them virtually everywhere in DFW and even further out. The rest of their beers are very well done.

Employees are down to earth and helpful. Somehow this place has managed to keep a small nano brewery feel while growing by leaps and bounds. Matt was my server this visit. He's awesome.

The physical location is great. Their tap room is rather plain, which I like. It feels like a brewery. You walk through their production floor to get to the bathroom and the outdoor courtyard where they sometimes have events. This whole place rocks!

FYI - They are in soft opening phase of having food available.

Great water park with nice slides, river, wave pool etc. friendly staff. Find a discount before you buy the anual pass. Restaurant only offers junk food.
Could use some renovations, but they keep it clean.
I love it for a quick refresh after work in the heavy Texas summer heat.

This old theater in downtown Garland has been beautifully restored. Since it is a small theater there are no bad seats. I have seen plays and live musical performances there! Good prices and great fun. Beautiful original art of “old” Garland hangs on the walls.

This was my third trip to the Curtis Caldwell Center in the last few years. As far as the center goes, nothing has changed. Good and bad.

The building has been well maintained. The parking is ridiculously over priced at $15/vehicle. The food provided within the venue is terrible-there is simply no nice way to say it. There are restaurant near by, save your money and digestive system by waiting for a meal elsewhere.

The security at the center is present, which is nice.

I have lived in garland most of my life. This Greenbelt has been around for a while. There are multiple places to start out or finish your walk or bike ride. The park at O'banion and Oates is a good place to have a picnic and you can start and finish there. Lots of trees and covered walkways that go from beyond Oates all the way to Centerville and beyond. Some walkways cross the creek and there are a couple of large ponds.

This is a well-paved walking trail but the trash was really a turn-off.
I was very disappointed in the trail as a whole and will not be back. Trash was everywhere! The positives - we saw a lot of flowers still blooming late in the winter and it was not crowded.

We went on a whim to see the distillery as we couldn't make the planned celebration 2 days later. The hospitality was lovely and this despite the renovation they were doing. We had tastes of 4 of their whiskies. Bourbon, Rye (particularly good) a blend.and a unique bourbon distilled from a craft beer made down the block (Temptress). The owner, Herman signed our bottles. We git an impromptu tour of the distillery too. Highly recommended!

We watched the production of "A Tuna Christmas." This Texas unique play has hilarious. The production requires two people to play the zany citizens of Tuna, Texas. The characterizations that each actor plays requires quite a range. I was very impressed with the play.

The facility is fine for the staging of the play. The floor lighting is so bright that it is hard to navigate down the steps to the seats.

Walk into a Cabelas/Bass Pro Shop anywhere and you are greeted and asked if you need help or directions to an area I need. This place is right on the lake split level building.

Do not doubt the ability of this local community to present top level performances, costuming, musical scoring and orchestra performances. It such an affordable option for theater and we are always thrilled to see one of the old musicals, along with a newer more contemporary musical. Patsy Granville is a force to reckoned with. Fabulous.Every.Sibgle.Year! You will smile until your cheeks ache!
