I did the Ryman VIP tour and it was very much worth it. The tour guide took their time, explained everything, and was exceptionally knowledgable. The group was small (VIP) and, once the tour concluded, we had free reign of the place. The tour lasted 2-1/2 hours and included the dressing rooms.

Great time as always. This is the 2nd time visiting. Much more bars than the last time I visited 7-10 years ago. Great time.

Nashville has grown up quite a bit since I was there. Too much in my opinion. The Grand Ole Opry is still a must, but it's in a mall parking lot across from Dave and Busters. The Ryman Auditorium and the Johnny Cash museum are cool but everything is very very expensive. Broadway Street is becoming quite corporate like Gatlinburg where every other bar is named after a country singer but most are owned by a corporation that paid the singer to use their name. Drinks and food are overpriced. BUT if you want to start drinking at 10am and stop at 3am and party til you puke. Well, go to Nashville.

What is there not to love about this place. Nice, clean, good food, and fun. You have options to dine in or out. They cover all their bases and everyone should be able to find something to eat there. During our stay, we ate here once a day if not twice everyday. Our favorite is Velvet Taco, but my wife loves eating the poke bowels.

This was a nice, humble tomb to a President few now remember. It’s very low key and easy to miss. I walked around the entire Capitol grounds trying to find it until finally I did.

The easiest way to find it is to walk up the steps that lead to the statue of Andrew Jackson, and follow the path to the right, you can’t miss it that way.

If you’re into history, it’s worth a visit to the Tennessee State Capitol. View all the grounds and see some interesting things.

This building is so unique. A friend called it the Batman building. I did not go inside but I did get a few photos from different angles.
