We had Maddie as a tour guide and she was so knowledgeable about the history of the lake and the plants and animals around! - Eric P1 contributionEverything about our experience was a 5/5 stars! Amazing friendly service. Great prices. Clean boat. Perfect communication. Answered every question we had. Rolled with the flow as we were behind schedule getting to the lake from Asheville. - Leigh H1 contributionWe rented a pontoon with our family from Eclectic Sun and had a blast. The boat was very nice, new and in perfect condition. Shane helped us get going and pointed out the best waterfalls on Lake Jocassee on the map. He helped us with a tube and knee board for the kids. When it was time to return, Shane was right there at the dock and drove us back to our car. What's great is that he puts the boat in the water for you and he also takes it out and fills it with gas, so he does all the hard stuff for you. This was the highlight of our vacation. - GoPlaces2095248903210 contributionsWe had a wonderful time! Kevin is a very good guide, and shares stories and information about Jocassee and the various waterfalls. He knows the lake and its weather like the back of his hand and kept a close eye on the weather while we were out there, and got us back to shore before the rain, which was also impressive. We had an idyllic picnic lunch we brought, on a little beach along the lake. - Dave K1 contributionAbsolutely enjoyed our tour with Sam on Lake Jocassee. We had plenty of room for our party of six, and the boat was very comfortable. Sam is very friendly and helpful, and has great knowledge of the lake and the area. We had to maneuver around a little bit of rain (very common on this lake), but Sam handled it really well. - Barb L5 contributionsWe just moved here and looking to see some sights. We booked the 4 hour pontoon ride on Lake Jocassee. All I can say it was totally awesome! The weather was hot and our guide, Ken, took us to the beach area to swim and also to three different waterfalls where swimming was available as well. It was a beautiful day and so happy that we were able to enjoy! You can bring snacks and drinks on board also. It is a convenient place to stop along the highway or if looking for a boat rental or other outdoor lake activities. There are other places nearby on the lake that might be better but they offer several services in one place.
