- bushmckayDe Pere, WI248 contributionsSuch a fun afternoon: live music, beautiful weather and great companionship. We so enjoy their Wed and Sat afternoon live music events. Bring your own chairs and your own glasses though there are lots of tables and you can buy wine glasses to use and take home with you. Always a pleasure.Written 25 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Becky M3 contributionsWhat a contrast to the noisy, crowded, commercial Myrtle Beach scene. Vereen is quiet, beautiful and peaceful.Written 14 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lesley TOak Hill, WV160 contributionsAwesome atmosphere, friendly staff! We enjoyed the VIP tour during a recent stay in Myrtle Beach. The tour guide, who was also an owner, gave us a fun, informative tour of the facility. He provided an awesome overview of the distillation process and was very knowledgeable. Afterwards, we enjoyed a tasting & cocktail in the Speakeasy room. Lucky for us, they still had several bottles of their seasonal Drunkin’ Punkin and Santa’s Little Helper. If you’re in the area, definitely check them out. The tour lasts about an hour and is well worth it!Written 24 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - critter2000309 contributionsWe visited the great light show by recommendation to a waitress we had at a local eatery. We were 100% happy she recommended this to use. They were thousands and thousand of lights with lots of different themes. Example of some were Under the Sea, Candy Land, Patriotic, General Christmas, and Disney. The first part was drive through and the second was a walking trail to Santa's Village where you could ride a train, go through a maze, buy hot chocolate, make smores, take pictures of your family on or in certain things, and my favorite part was the singing Christmas Trees as we entered the village. The whole experience was a most see. The 20.00 fee per car was excellent compare to the 30.00 per person we would have paid in Virginia for way less. We certainly recommend this attraction and certainly will be going again.Written 3 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael M2 contributionsGreat views and machines payout well. Food good. Most of the staff friendly and attentive. Lady at ticket window rude as well as upstairs bartender.Written 1 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jmichel01Myrtle Beach, SC427 contributionsQuiet marina off the ICW North of the Little River Swing bridge. You pull into the marina to a nice secure gas dock. They have a little shop for drinks, snacks and frozen fish bait. Gas is on average 40 cents per gallon cheaper than anywhere else and the service people there are great. Because you are sheltered, getting gas is easier and less stressful. They are also a full service marina with slips, boat storage and there is a restaurant on site though boat parking for the restaurant is limited to one or two spacesWritten 18 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LRJeanPooler, GA232 contributionsThey give you a free limited buffet meal as your cruise 3 miles out into the Atlantic. Then let the gambling and fun begin. A great experience. Each cruise takes about 5 hours and not recommended if you are prone to get sea sick, but otherwise fun.Written 1 April 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RICART75Peru, IN1,864 contributionsIt has become a tradition for us, when staying in Myrtle Beach; to drive up to Calabash N C and load up with selections from the Calabash Deli. We then stop at this Welcome Center on the way back.
Since it's late night/early morning when we usually initially enter South Carolina; this becomes our best option for obtaining the most current hard copy information for our stay.
This facility is clean, well-maintained, nicely designed and loaded with helpful materials.
The staff have always been welcoming, friendly and accommodating (this year being no exception).
From maps to coupons to current attractions; a stop here is a great way to orient, and begin one's visit to the area.Written 4 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You are guaranteed to come out of the church learning something spiritually and feeling the presence of the Lord.
Great Congregation that benefit all members and guests. Grace Christian fellowship offers more than this Sunday sermons.Written 3 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We are locals but have not stopped in as it just seems like another strip mall. We were pleasantly surprised by just how much is inside. While this is another mostly resale, individually owned, stall rental establishment, it is better than some we've visited.
Although we did not purchase anything on our first visit, we are heading back to pickup an item my wife is now sure will go well with our decor.Written 16 December 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Pastor Wood teaches the biblical importance of permanence in marriage, but also the grace and mercy of God for those who go through break-ups. There are several other couples in the church that have been divorced in remarried. This ministry is conservative but compassionate.Written 25 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LAMFERYork, PA490 contributionsIf you are stopping here because you want to tour the lighthouse, please read the website prior to trying, it is NOT a lighthouse you can tour. It is a replica. It is located in a private residential area. If you know before you go, then you won't be disappointed and leave a negative responsive. What's not to love, it's a lighthouse, beautiful :)Written 12 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lmdNewHampshirenew hampshire47 contributionsI have found some good treasures here. Prices are fair, people nice. Don't expect floors and floors of finely polished antiques. This is a shop where great finds come and go quickly. Diamonds in the rough.Written 18 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Miranda PPittsburgh, PA46 contributionsThe owners were so friendly. We loved talking to them. He hand carved many of the items in the store and most of the other stuff is from Indonesia. The wife ( I can’t remember her name) told me all about Blackbeard being in Little River. Check out the newspaper articles on the back wall while you’re there. My husband bought a tiki statue and my daughter bought a parrot wind chime, both hand carved in Indonesia. Definitely stop by if you are in the area.Written 28 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
