Somewhat remote, pristine, and well kept, the beach and park offer opportunities for relaxing, swimming, and enjoying a family picnic if that's your desire.
Much more hardback sand than folly, less crowded than Isle of Palms...lots of kiddie puddles.. this is the county park where you can go and be there from sunup to sundown.

The nature park was steps from our villa where we rented island cruiser bikes several times to ride 30 mls of lush vegetation bike paths and the beautiful beach was just a path away the other direction.
This park has something for everyone, from play ground equipment fro the little tykes, to walking / biking trails, to interactive, educational Nature Center.
