What travelers are saying
- EthanBrisbane, Australia17 contributionsBeautiful healthy and fulfilling banquet lunch at Farm & Co. The food was reminiscent of a classic Sunday lunch but with high quality ingredients grown on site. Awesome wine and drinks list to boot. Great service with no pressure to flip tables, we ended up staying for 2.5 hours.
Have to pay extra ($7) for the farm walk which is a little rich given we spent $200+ on lunch.
Would definitely return!Written April 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BecBrisbane, Australia1,100 contributionsBeautiful memorial, lots of open glass area for picnic, beach right there, fish and chips (and other eateries) close by. It’s a lovely place to visit. Parking can be a nightmare at peak periods.Written January 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- GloballyInspiredBrisbane, Australia244 contributionsWe did not go into the Minjungbal Aboriginal Cultural Centre as it was closed, but had not planned to. I saw this site on NSW tourism for a nature walk which starts at the cultural centre and is listed in searches on the internet as Tweed Heads Historic Centre - Walk. It is a rainforest, wetland boardwalk 1km loop that starts at the Aboriginal Cultural Centre. The information along the way is informative of our Indigenous Australians history and what occurred in the area, the foods they ate and ceremonies - really interesting. Loved the nature, the walk, the quality of the boardwalk and it is a hidden gem.
The Minjungbal Aboriginal Cultural Centre is quite small and is extremely expensive for what it has to offer, so if this was priced correctly id consider visitingWritten July 5, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's a bit out of the way and is far less popular than the Coolangatta beaches over the border, even though it is just a few hundred metres from them. That's good if you want to get away from the crowds, though Duranbah is well known to the local board riders. Even if you're not a board rider, it is worth a visit - the sand is clean, the water quality is good, it is not crowded and is patrolled in holiday times. A big bonus is there is plenty of free parking less than a few hundred metres away.Written October 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lovely deck for lunch that looks out over the countryside of rolling hills and a river. Second visit. Never tire of it. - FamilyofAussies33 contributionsFantastic spot to take the kids, when they need to burn off some serious energy! We've been lucky to time some visits on days that were fairly quiet, so the kids had a wonderful time. The older kids loved the climbing frame and slides. Our little person loved the spot for the Under 4s, and was quite safe in there. The bumper cars is a HUGE hit, since that opened (kids say it's their favourite feature at Tabatinga), and they also love the mini golf. Food is tasty, coffee is strong and parking is easy. - Michael-4551Caloundra, Australia5,458 contributionsVisited site of Tweed Heads Railway Station on Tuesday 15th June. There is an info board giving the history of the line between Southport and Tweed Heads. There is also a section of track in the medium strip on Bay Street where the tracked crossed Bay Street. You can still see where the track crossed the border from Coolangatta and headed north.Written August 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
