Busy place with lots of visitors, but not enough parking. We parked in the pay and display car park. Parking charges are reasonable, £2.40 upto 4 hours. Car park staff were doing their job well but were getting shouted at by some members of public who couldn’t find parking.personally I feel there are some issues that need to be addressed. Firstly, the toilets in the car park were locked at 5 pm when we arrived back at the car. Many visitors like myself who come from far need the toilet before they set off for their journey back home, however this was a huge letdown. Another thing is there were no litter bins through out our circular walk, or at least we didn’t spot any. Thirdly there is a small picnic area with 5 or 6 table benches, however , the picnic spot was overgrown and not maintained, with an overload of flies. Apart from this, all in all it was a good day out with the family where we enjoyed a lovely circular walk. The weather was brilliant too. visitors can also go in the boats in the reservoir, which stop operating at around 4.30 pm.

Staff very friendly , but not at all wheelchair accessible. Great for the kids . Prices are reasonable. Stopped for a soft drink after our walk around the farm. Very interactive for kids .

Great country park. Easy to find, free parking although limited. Good for all especially long walks if you're fit to manage the hills.

Excellent party for my daughter’s 6th birthday. The venue was quiet at 10am which was great for us. The staff were really polite, happy and helpful, especially Gabbie, our party host, who really made our little girl feel special.

Visited with my 11yo son. But tricky to find via public transport on a Sunday, but Lees is a pleasant village in itself, about 30 mins walk from Oldham Mumps. Bus 84 is also a useful connection.
Behind an unassuming door of an industrial unit we were glad to find a world of wonder. Gorgeously landscaped scalextric tracks that wouldn't be out of place in a modelling exhibition. The tracks themselves range from very technical to fast and open, so it's definitely worth going round them all. The F1 simulator (age 11 and up) has also a real draw, with a choice of three screens or full VR immersion. Everything is beautifully done without feeling pretentious or overly slick, and the staff couldn't be more friendly or more helpful. Great place for a small birthday party perhaps too, and snacks from the cafe are very reasonably priced. Couldn't recommend this place more highly and I'm sure we'll be back soon.

Our fifth time in Saddleworth but our first at the Museum and we really enjoyed ourselves. Lots of interesting information about the local area, over two floors with well-designed recreations of old local cottage interiors. Nice gift shop too. Only gave jt 4 stars instead of 5 because the lady on reception was a bit grumpy and wouldn’t let a member of the public use the toilets without paying. Apart from that it was great, well done to whoever lays out the museum

Took a school party here for 2 days climbing. The centre is amazing - clean, bright and climbing for all levels from the youngest to the oldest. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great coffee!

This is a lovely walk, joined it in Uppermill and walked to Delph. Only downside is there were multiple dog owners who let their dogs off the lead but are unable to control them! Other than this, it’s a perfect walk!

This is a free to enter local museum and combined Library. There is a combination of perminant and temp themed displays on offer. Some of the highlights are of course the two paintings by Lowrey and the Masterpiece : Circe Offering the Cup to Ulysses is perhaps Gallery Oldham’s most popular artwork. I had a good chat with staff who are very informative and helpful and only happy to discuss the exhibits. There was also a couple of cabinets filled with impressive memorabilia of the "Roughyeds" the local Rugby League Team which I particularly enjoyed. ( Note that the lifts were out of order and it is split onto a few levels)
