Powell's deserves its own zip code as it occupies (?) a Portland city block of all things wonderful in books, magazines, journals, albums, gifts and coffee shops.
The biggest and greatest physical book store in the world during the era of e-commerce :) although nowadays I prefer reading any books on my Kindle it is a fantastic experience to visit Powell's bookstore.

Always busy with an excellent spice store, several good restaurants, grocery store, small personal shops and a library.
Nice neighborhood to get away from city center, and still close enough to transportation into town.

I travel the the states in the summer and always enjoy shopping at Washington Square Mall.

We had the opportunity to by some more gifts and souvenirs before returning to Vieques, Puerto Rico (home) and found nice keychains, neckless and stickers among other things!
