The lava beds are so unexpected and surreal, Lava butte is an easy/moderate hike with great views the lava tube is fascinating one of the most unique caves I have been in.
We saw Paulina Falls (lovely,) Paulina Lake (pretty), climbed the Obsidian flow (interesting), and drove up Paulina Peak for a stunning view of surrounding mountains and lakes.

This is a must-see at sunset, where you get an incredible view at the cascade mountains to the west, blue mountains to the east and other volcanic vents and mountains to north and south.
Drive your car or hike to the top for amazing views of Bend, the surrounding mountains, and don;t miss the sunsets and amazing night skies.
