I was a Freshmen in High School and was on Easter break when this event happened and remember everything about that day~ I never knew what ever happened to the hollow ground. Oklahoma City did an amazing Job with the Memorial to the many of lives lost on that day.

The 9:01 (last minute of peace) the reflection pool in the center representing the impact & devastation and the 9:03 (the minute recovery started) walls where so well build and you can feel the impact of this memorial as you drive up to it. There is a chain-link fence near the road that holds personal belonging to those who were lost ~ poems, pictures, flowers, notes etc... on the right side if looking at the 9:01 wall is a park filled with Chairs ~ 2 different sizes small for the children in the day care and large to the Adults that died that day. Striking to look at. Lastly on the left is the Living Tree ~ survived the Bombing.

There was a ball game on at the time we were staying at the Hyatt a few minutes walk away, & we decided to have a night at the game on the Saturday. Being from the UK, we're a little rusty on the rules of baseball, but quickly caught up & had a great time.

It was a 'special' event game, with Marvel characters around to make it a great night for the kids.

Getting the tickets was so easy at the ticket booth, & great value (especially when compared to sports events back home!) & the ballpark is very clean & well organised.

Overall, we had a really good night & very pleased we decided to go.

Nice arena. We went for a Thunder game and had stayed at the Courtyard next door so everything was so easy! Lots of fast dining options.

Really cute area and fun to walk around. Most of the shops were closed but we did visit the galleries that were open. Very artsy and did not expect this kind of area in Oklahoma City.

PK Glass was open and we went in and talked with the owner and really enjoyed looking at the glass works. We did buy a lamp, which now sits in our living room and reminds us of our trip.

We came all the way from Georgia and let me say how amazing it was! The staff was super friendly and attentive. Security on the lot overnight was a plus. We stayed in a tipi, which was very spacious and relaxing. Each spot has a private shower/bath with a community fire pit to use for cooking. We will definitely be back to try the wagons!

You have to go see a state capitol building, right? It didn't seem to be open on a Sunday morning, the parking lots with the reserved spaces for the members of the legislature were all deserted, but we walked around the grounds and upon on some of the steps. The oil derricks are certainly a unique aspect.

Nice to walk around. Most shops close at 6pm. There are western stores, gift shops, and restaurants. Lots of traffic so be careful crossing the road.

Went to a preseason basketball game with our 6 year old. We all had a blast! That’s all he talked about for days. There was a table there with workers that greeted him and gave him a pin indicating his first game. He wore it for days as well.

Great venue. I’ve sat everywhere from the upper balcony to the first few rows, and the sound and view are great from every seat.

This bridge is kinda cool. It looks way better at night. I had to cross it a few times when visiting the city in August. It’s different.

I like old churches and this one looks old. It’s got a decent amount of detail and is well done and maintained. It’s enjoyable if you like churches.

We were staying in 11th and walked here, enjoyed shops, tacos, coffee and yoga. This is only going to attract more and more cool shops over time
