During our summer road trip through Ohio, we stopped at these beautiful gardens. This is a gorgeous walk-through, of well-maintained lawns (that you aren’t even able to lay a blanket on to keep in beautiful condition), trails, fountains, sculptures, and tons of flowers!

We started by the big fountain and made our way through the rose area. This is a huge place for photographers to do family photos as we saw a few of them. Just passed the roses was an overlook with a beautiful view. There were some trails with outdoor art, and some sculptures. We have never come across a garden labyrinth before. There was one on these grounds in memory of someone who had passed. It was beautiful!

We spotted a rainbow through the fountain, and so many different kinds of flowers!

There are a few different gazebos, archways and lush gorgeousness!

Our children were with us. These gardens are family friendly with kid friendly trails.

We came after hours, so we did not get the opportunity to check out the gift shop. Will hit that the next time around.

A very tranquil place that had everything on your list of beautiful gardens you could hope for. Will definitely revisit!

*Wheelchair accessible parking lot and entrance. Public restrooms available. Free admission.

Took the tour. Was very impressed to see all that makes a mill work. You can go up or down stairs to view all aspects. Several signs tell the history and workings.

I love any kind of an antique store that has turned itself into a mall. What I mean in that is that each consigner has their own square and are in charge of how they choose to display it. You get some people who will just line things up as part of their antique business, and then you have others that will make an entire store window out of it. Those are my absolute favorites, and I love coming across them!

In PA where we reside, there was an antique mall many years ago at Washington Crown Center that was called Black Rose Antiques that was house in the former Old Navy store. That mall was set up similar to this one. I have never come across another one yet until I found Mr. Darby‘s.

The very first booth I was greeted by was a colorful wall of fiesta ware. I, myself do not own or collect, but my best friend does so I quickly snapped a picture and sent it to her. I know she would love to see this in person!

I am very much into color, coordinating and room coordinating so I also took a liking to the Pyrexx booth. The oranges that they pulled together were absolutely beautiful.

My kids even found a booth that they liked that had Nintendo games and Pokémon cards for purchase. It is very important to also include the little ones when it comes to our adventures. They found some they liked and purchased with their own money.

I selected a few holiday magazine ads, and I intend to frame and hang this coming Christmas. With it being July, I am in the Christmas in July spirit, and loved that there were some holiday antiques, vintage and collectibles at the forefront to see.

They offer in store pickup and buy used goods. Checks, debit, and credit cards accepted.

    * Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking.

Whether you have family members who mined coal, made charcoal, made steel or just lived in the area, the museum gives a great history from the 1600’s. Definitely worth the stop. Two stories.

What a great find in Youngstown Ohio. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and staff was very friendly. Our admission also allowed us to go to the Mahoning Valley Historical Museum. Not a huge museum but was done very well.

Beautiful park to enjoy with family, pets, and specially children! One of the most original playgrounds I have ever seen! Breathtaking trails! They rent some facilities for events, and celebrations. The venue is gorgeous!

We recently attended a concert at the Covelli Center. We had great seats. Easy trip from our home. Appreciate the close on-site parking. They were charging $20. Worth it to us since it's so close to the doors. Security was present outside as we waited to enter. They were diligent about reminding concertgoers of the bag policy, sending people back to their cars if their bag was too big. Right as we entered there was a vendor with a large cart filled with ice that had bottled water and other drinks. We made the mistake of buying our bottled water from him. He removed the cap and insisted he had to keep it. So I was holding an open bottle of water. Not able to put it down on the floor for fear of spilling my $6 bottle of water. It got warm quickly because I had to hold it the entire time. Many people around me had bottled water with the cap on. They told me they bought it from a concession stand with their other drinks and food purchases. We won't make that mistake again and hope you don't either.
