The glacial grooves were really neat. From the top looking down, it was really fascinating. The park did a good job surrounding the grooves with a nice walkway.

The yurts are wonderful! They're roomy and reasonably though minimally equipped. There's a basket-style coffeemaker, full fridge, electric range with oven, and microwave. If you expect to cook, to be on the safe side I'd bring anything crucial -- we only had a single bowl of a size we could make a salad or mix a loaf of bread in, and the other yurt didn't have one at all, but did have a cookie sheet, which we did not.

There's table seating inside for six and three full beds. Ample outlets. Large decks with picnic table, grill, and views of the beach and lake. Wheelchair accessible, including the picnic table and the kitchen sink.

Clothing storage includes only a wardrobe; bring your own hangers.

Airflow isn't as good as we'd expected; even in September, with highs that didn't get above 74 and every window wide open, it was stuffy inside. Bring fans if you have them. Both yurts had one box fan, and that was not enough to keep us comfortable at night.

Grocery shopping on Kelleys is minimal, especially anything perishable (dairy was well-stocked, but meat and produce were very slim pickings). Bring everything you can fit in. You can buy ice at the camp entrance.

Interesting and unique place to Visit. We got there too late to see the inside of the museum but wandered about outside to find some very unique and interesting statues made of marble, cement, limestone, and lot of boob statues, etc. we really enjoyed this place so if you have time do it. Could have spent more time here but it was starting to get dark.

Be sure and check out their thrift shop next door, which is how they generate funds to keep the museum going. We didn't purchase anything, but it was like a small antique store.

Short narrow trail from a small parking area to a secluded rocky beach area with a couple of benches. You may encounter deer, butterflies, birds on the walk. Nice spot to spend some quiet time.

We took a longer hike than intended because we took a wrong turn. I was a nice trail but a super HOT day!

Really gorgeous old abandoned ruins of an old limestone quarry on the trail. Be careful while walking around...it's still a ruin, lol. Plenty to see and a beautiful park space around it including a "rope" to get yourself down to the northern side beach. Be careful and go and enjoy!

I was saddened by my visit to the petroglyphs...it is a fascinating spot and worth the few minutes it took to stop by and look. Time and the elements have taken their toll... they are there but challenging to see clearly. The dozens of coins people have tossed onto the surface of the rock doesn’t help matters any. 😞

The other review was so complete that I don’t have much to add except that it’s an amazing place to visit and so breathtakingly beautiful and a must see. True, you see lots of birds in the area. Be careful as some of the limestones are wet and slippery.
