Dunkery Beacon, at 519 m, the highest point in Somerset and on Exmoor is quite easy to walk to from Minehead. In the sunny weather, the all-round views - N, S, E and W - from the top were fantastic.
It was a lovely walk across the moorland on the track up to the beacon and the view from the top was wonderful in all directions across Exmoor and over the Bristol Channel to Wales.

Spectacular views and masses of wildflowers at this time of year.

A super little bridge in the heart of Lorna Doone country, the view standing on the bank slightly downstream of the bridge and looking towards it is, to my mind, superlative.
It is a gentle descent down to the bridge with lovely views.
