My wife and I played a round of golf the morning after two inches of rain fell on the course. Although the fairways were softened by the rain, the course had drained remarkably well. The early morning groups were delayed due to the rain so the course was crowded when we arrived. My wife is a beginning golfer and was intimidated by the prospect of us being paired with a couple of good (male) golfers. The starter was able to quickly rearrange groups and sent us out with another couple. This dropped my wife’s stress level and we had a great round! Unfortunately on the 18th hole she left a couple of clubs green side. We didn’t realize the mistake until we returned home, 2 hours away. We called the Pro Shop, they found the clubs and offered to ship them to us. I gladly paid the shipping cost and received the clubs in a couple of days. They went above and beyond to ensure our round was great and our memory of the day wasn’t tarnished by our own mistake. Beautiful course! Great people! I’ll be back!

I played Tarks three times in the last three weeks. The pictures are clear, distances are relatively accurate, used every club in my bag and did not lose any balls! The staff is great and the beer was cold. Lots of courses to choose from. Yet...I still could not break 80 :(

This is a very inexpensive golf course to play. True they have been removing many trees from the course but I do believe it was necessary to improve the course in the long run. There are many challenging holes on this course and it will test many aspects of your game. It is not Saratoga National which to me is 5 stars but you will pay about 1/5 the cost for a tee time. My green fees were $35. During track season this is an accessible course unlike many others that are fully booked. I usually play this a couple of times during a visit to Saratoga and I go to Saratoga about 3 times a year.

The new club house is great with really nice views from the upper deck. It is worth a visit just to have a drink on the deck and relax.
