We visited the farm today. It was a pleasure to visit this wonderful farm and animals. We traveled from Montreal to spend the day in Plattsburgh and we decided to visit the farm. It was actually closed but the owner invited us to come and visit with no cost. The animals are beautiful and friendly, the landscape it breathtaking, and the owner is super kind. We will definitely will visit this farm again in spring and summer. Super recommended.

Clean.A wonderful environment for a large family Get Together that won’t
Break the Budget.I would even use it for business travel , as its charm ,lack of elevator ,car & truck noise are conducive to creativity/productivity. Great Concept.Brian P

    Fascinating and Free.
Interesting ‘roadside attraction’ maintained by the owner of the property. A surprise find in tiny Peru.

Quiet little stop for my dog and I to just relax after my work day. Cute park areas all around. Best part about Plattsburgh along with the ferry in my opinion.

This is a small museum with some very interesting items. The volunteer who was present did an excellent job of explaining the history of the base.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on Sunday for brunch. We both enjoyed the ambiance, the drinks ( both had coffees, a mimosa, and Bloody Caesar)the food was tasty and plentiful. My only complaint would be I think they could be understaffed. With that being said, I understand the challenges it must be to predict how busy you may be. Overall a very nice experience, we will definitely be back!

Gorgeous views in every direction - either mountains or the lake or wooded Valcour Island. There is a long sand beach to walk along or sit by. The course itself was designed by Albert Tillinghast, an early great of American golf course design. It is beautiful, well-managed, with nice facilities. Every staff person we met was professional and attentive, really good people. Great place to go for a round or to stay for a few days!

A small group of us (high school classmates at a mini reunion) visited the house one fine autumn day. First, the place itself is wonderful -- all the furnishings and artwork and miscellaneous equipment were excellent and so interesting. Second, the house is in a great location, with views of Lake Champlain and within a few steps of a cool monument (even with its un-PC representation of an Indian/native American). Thirdly, our guide through the house was the museum director, and she was fabulous -- so knowledgeable (of course) but also witty and fun.
I've subsequently visited the museum's website and checked out its "Artifact Corner" videos, which are just as interesting and fun as the museum's director.
Don't miss this place if you like history and old houses and period furnishings.

CCHA offers their visitors a great experience. A wonderful place to learn about what shaped Clinton County. The docents are knowledgeable and passionate about Clinton County's story.

Lots of activities that kept both a 2 and a half and a 7 year old busy for hours!
Puppet theatre, play castle, music, store, kitchen, climbing wall, hammock swing, dental office, floor piano, riding toys, sand, coloring, gears, large foam blocks.
