Spend more time than you anticipated looking at the diversity of excellence in woodworking, quilts, and pottery. Kathy and Lois will be pleased to answers questions about any of the items for sale and to share TAUNY's remarkable history. The trail takes you through the woods and gives great views of the river and small waterfalls. Their Maple Porter is our favorite. - Arnab P1 contributionThis is a must visit place while you are in NY’s North Country. It’s located in the downtown Canton and an excellent place to learn about the history and culture of the region. It has cool exhibits, children's attic, research facility, great collections and cute little gift shop (something for everyone). They also conduct different indoor/outdoor programs on history and other related subjects. You can be a member easily and enjoy the quarterly editions, research facility and many other cool things. Perfect for people and families of all ages. All the seats have a great view of the ice so you feel like you’re in the center of the action. It also has a great selection of high end products perfect for gifts.
