Incredible street art turns city into museum.
Aeroseum Gothenburg, Sweden
One of the best museums in Sweden - perfect for rainy day
One of the best military museums I ever visited
Vitlycke Museum Tanumshede, Sweden
An outstanding small museum that balances provision of information with interactive displays to satisfy both adults and children.
On the other side of the road (across from the museum), the trails lead to the petroglyphs with signs in English and Swedish explaining about the meaning of these carvings and if you climb to the top of the hill a...
Best of all, pay 40 SEK for entry and you get an annual pass which includes entry to this museum and 5 or 6 other museums throughout Gothenburg including Gothenburg Stadsmuseet.
We hadn't had so much time since it was our last day in Gothenburg, and since we bought a ticket at the City Museum, we decided to visit one more, since for 40 SEK you can visit 5 museums.
Volvo Museum Gothenburg, Sweden
One of the best motor vehicle museums I have ever been to any where.
Excellent museum but a bit of a Trek to get there and you need to call ahead to make sure there is a public transport bus to take you and get you back, as it only runs if you request it.
Maritiman Gothenburg, Sweden
Some of the maritime museums we have been too are all exhibition based with perhaps the odd ship to explore, this however, seemed to be differed with such a large collection of ships to explore from cargo vessels,...
Very informative, great museum to understand and experience life on a variety of ships Highly recommended, also with kids (age 10)
Saab Car Museum Trollhattan, Sweden
Technology and design history in a Amazing museum.
The videos in the museum were also extremely interesting, with comfy saab seats to sit in if you wanted, although I was using my powerchair, and found the whole museum nicely accessible.
Universeum Gothenburg, Sweden
There is a Gothenburg City Card which allows visits to a whole range of museums as well as travel on trams and boats, which makes it great value.
This is one of the best natural history museums that I have seen.
If you like museums, get the Göteborg museum card for a small cost, and visit many of the famous museums for less......valid for the year, includes the Art museum, Maritime museum, and the soon to re-open, Röhsska...
One of the best, friendliest museums in the world!
The museum is located inside the fortress and looking out the deep set windows at the near by ocean it's easy to imagine yourself being there in the 16th century.
Visiting the museum inside the fortress is worthwhile!
