We really enjoyed going through the mansion. The staff are very knowledgeable and gave great information! We were most impressed with the number of items/articles that were original belongings of the Morton family. Definitely an enjoyable stop to better appreciate Nebraska history!

Tree adventure is awesome! We loved it! Fun stations scattered throughout the park. I think it would be good for a variety of ages, we took a 6 yr old. Trampoline in the trees was fun! Trees are bare but I bet it would be beautiful in other seasons! We plan to come back again! Looks like there are many other activities at the farm that we didn’t have time for. Could easily spend a couple of days here. Stay overnight at the Lied Lodge!

the guy who gives the tours of the old windmill factory is young, but really well versed in the history. this old factory still has a lot of parts and pieces along with the equipment they used to manufacture and repair windmills.

Self paced. Was raining so did not visit outside exhibits. Story of Lewis & Clark exploration to the Pacific Northwest. Many hands on activities for children. Short movie in theater.

My family and I visited the Civil War Museum in October 2022, and although we’d traveled to Nebraska City a couple of times prior, we had never heard of the Civil War Museum until discovering it on Tripadvisor. What a hidden gem!! There are plenty of unique and authentic artifacts for adults to enjoy, as well as a LEGO scavenger hunt and dress-up area for the kids! The Museum does a wonderful job painting a picture of one of the most pivotal happenings in American history. This is most definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!

The tour is only $5 and you get a tour that makes the house come to life. Our docent was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about telling the story of the family, the period and the items in the house.

Nice set up with great kids play area and hayrides too. Nice gift/food building and I thought reasonable. Try the cider slushy. Great! Was disappointed that their kitchen was closed. Long line for apple donuts. All kinds of fruit wines available too. Saw a pumpkin field there too.

Relaxing place to enjoy First-Rate food.
    Excellent service.
[ Restaurant is worth the bit of a "hike" to get there over marginally-designed outside landscape & layout. ]
