What travelers are saying
- Alicia MMonticello, MN125 contributionsThey were renovating some of the area so we didn’t have to pay which was a bonus. There were a few people in period clothing and most talked to us about what they were doing. We saw the chickens, oxen, sheep and the cats who were friendly. Most of the buildings we could go in. A neat stop.Written October 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Shamr0ckGNaples, FL471 contributionsWhile you’re in town be sure to visit this local museum to learn about the history of Lee's Summit. More displays and artifacts than I expected to find. - BethBeth26Lincoln, NE74 contributionsWe went to kill a few hours before dinner on a Saturday. The place was packed! My family is handicapped and cant sit at high top tables but luckily we worked something out and found a lovely spot to relax.
The staff was super helpful and the wine was great. Totally suggest coming to visit for others.Written April 13, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was a rainy day and the bartenders were really friendly and knowledgeable about the beer they were serving that day. It’s always been my experience when you can talk to the brewer’s themselves about the beer you drink that makes the visit personal. The men and women at Diametric did just that for me making my visit so much enjoyable. The Long Bombin Patrick Mahazy, a double new england ipa named after the Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, a nice and juicy ipa with hoppy fruitness. The Sand In My Staves regular and passion fruit versions of this flanders red ale was a great sour flavored beer that went down easy. Finally the Trops of Jupiter, a sour gose with passion fruit, pink guava, and mango was a excellent blend of sour, salty, and fruity. They have some snacks available so please know this isn’t a full food menu. Kid friendly no kids menu $$Written May 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- heliophilKansas City, MO282 contributionsNice new, wide level trail with plenty of singletrack offshoots, park access, creek access. Much is covered with shade trees, popular and safe family friendly place to walk or bike.Written September 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jmc1Kansas City, MO278 contributionsI used to go to Summit Fair for The Finish Line and occasionally Macy's. However, since The Finish Line left I haven't been back. It's a nice area and if there is a store there you like to frequent then it would be worth going there.Written April 8, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tara MKansas City, MO10 contributionsWe love coming here as a family. I can hang out in the lazy river and enjoy myself while my kids go do their thing. The lazy river does get crowded at times, but that is expected. My kids love the slides and diving board. We like being able to bring our own food and drinks into the park. It is a great price for a fun day at the water park.Written August 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Previa1994Chicago, IL6,652 contributionsWinterset Nature Area in Lee’s Summit is a nature forest hiking area taking advantage of a creek. The fabulous Hartman Park serves as the trailhead for this trail. The loop trail (a less than a mile) is paved with woodchips. A part of the loop runs along Cedar Creek. The trail meanders through different types of trees and wildflowers, wood bridges and waterfalls. I heard and saw lots of birds during my walk. The highlight was the stop at the waterfall area where quite a few people were enjoying a dip in the waters on a hot day.Written June 25, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James B1 contributionSweet little spot in Lee's Summit for great craft beer! Menu says they are "Paying Homage" to Tom Pendergast keeping the libations flowing in KC during prohibition. Great story, great selection of great beers representing all types, and the food is pretty good too! Seems to have a pretty solid liquor selection as well. Just an overall great chill spot to enjoy a drink...something for everyone. Worth being a regular stop on your circuit!Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
