Cassandre has a beautiful voice! We thoroughly enjoyed the band, and we loved the addition of Jeremy Rabe, an excellent tenor voice. There is an operatic style and tone to Cassandre’s voice which, if you like that, is really beautiful. I’m not a big opera fan, but we did enjoy the show overall. I enjoyed it more when she sang with Jeremy. We are glad for the experience. Everyone is very talented!
Of note, the Hughes Theater does not have good accessibility for disabled visitors in the men’s room. My husband is of smaller stature and in a smaller wheelchair and could not get into the handicap stall - a fellow show goer helped him. If you are in a wheelchair, power chair or scooter it will be difficult, or impossible, to use the restroom. We ran into a man the last time we were there who was in a motorized scooter - he had to forgo using the restroom altogether. It’s not accessible. My husband did bring this to the attention of one of the Hughes Bros when we were there about a month ago. Apparently it’s an expense issue; hope they will budget that fix for next year. It’s important!
