This place is awesome. The play areas are natural and fun. So many learning opportunities and space to explore. They also have drop in events through the year with animals. Very cool.

I made the Crispy Apple Coleslaw from your recipe page. It is delicious. My son and I had a great time and bought some wonderful apples and ready to bake pie. We will definitely visit again.

Good food, good service, friendly service. We've been there often and they are reliable. Would recommend as an all purpose place to eat and socialize.

Great library. They offer a ton of CDs and DVDs, plus there's a really large mystery section. The kids section has gorgeous stained glass windows that let in multicolored light and lend a really fun vibe to that area. There are a couple study rooms that you can use or book in advance if you want more privacy, and a larger room for hosting events and such. While I was there, someone was having trouble using the copier machine and the staff were super friendly and very helpful in showing her how to do so without being condescending. One of my favorite features was the Library of Things, a collection of assorted items (including yarn, lost puzzle pieces, and more) free for the community to take and use. There was also a cute seed library. Highly recommend!

A great place to worship god. The christian music can be a little loud on a Friday night but the teachings are always good and always relevant to every day life. Usually a 1/2 hour of music and 1/2 hour of teaching.

Popular park on the northwest corner of beautiful White Bear Lake which is the second largest lake in the Twin Cities. Good place to picnic or hang out on the beach. White Bear Lake is one of the most popular lakes to take your boat on. There is a boat launch at the park. You can also rent pontoon boats from the marina area. I biked the Mark Sather Trail which behind at the park and travels along the west side of the lake to just past the marina to Lion’s Park. It is better suited to walking rather than biking as many pedestrians are on the trail going out for a stroll. However it offers scenic views of the lake.

The mead, atmosphere, and service are great. My wife and I go there AT LEAST once a month for a night out, but usually several times a month. Wednesday trivia night is especially fun (but getting more crowded as people discover it!). They also have a small selection of reasonably priced food to go along with a nice variety of meads.

Reading through the other reviews, it seems that those <5 star were written before they moved to their new, larger location.
