Canning Bridge is unusual; it's built completely of Western Australian timber. The timber includes Wandoo, which is a tree of legendary toughness. Canning Bridge traffic connects Perth with the port city, Fremantle. The lively Raffles Hotel sits on the south side. Anglers like the bridge, they catch fish and crabs. The Canning Bridge has endured for many years.

Came here few times, the views over Swan river are pretty good. This is a good place for small and primary school children with a great playground. Schools often come here for day trips.

This market has an attractive range of arts and crafts, mostly hand made by local artisans. The array of arts and craftworks is gratifying. It's easy to pick something to take home, browsers are welcome. Canning Bridge Art Markets can be found on the Fremantle side of Canning Bridge.

Yachtsmen will be working on their boats to prepare for the sailing season. The Swan River will soon see a crowd of sails. Nothing beats the thrill of sailing on a broad reach on a summer's afternoon. South of Perth has a good location, and everyone can have a go.

Heathcote was once a psychiatric facility for the South of Perth area. It is now an artstic centre. It has workshops and the gallery often has interesting traveling exhibitions. Heathcote has some of the best riveer views in Perth.

The Tivoli Club is a return to the days of vaudeville, when the cinema wasn't much fun and television hadn't been invented. Vaudeville had a lot more variety than 'the flicks' and comedians were the stars of the show. The Tivoli is a return to the good old days, when the best entertainment was live

Great staff of passionate kiters, very friendly and happy to help. I was in Perth for a week, and wanted to improve my kiting skills. I contacted the school via email, they were super quick to reply and scheduled a class the next day.
The spot, Applecross, is also great for learning and very safe, probably the best in Perth. Really recommended!! Have fun.
