Really unique. You can see all the way to the bottom and can even see the actual spring working at the bottom. Also lots of fish swimming. It’s like being in an aquarium it’s so clear. Very pretty and not too far off the path whether in Munising or coming up from mackinaw.

This is a must stop. There is something magical about this park. Quiet. Quaint. The boat "ride". The water. The fish. The great bathrooms. The gift shop. It is close to Fayette Historic State Park so if you buy a day pass you can visit both. If I had to guess I think we have been here at least 6 times over 20+ years. The park just draws you in. Definitely a must stop.

Set on the shores of Lake Michigan, this spot is beautiful and well worth the walk to the light house. Clean sand beach and clear walkways. We walked this in the late afternoon and it was lovely.

This was our second time at Indian Lake State Park. The campsite was level and nice. We were not on lake access. We used the campground as our base and took a day trip to Marquette. Our Verizon cell service with internet was great.

My only wish is that this state park would get a facelift for the bathrooms/showers like some of the other Michigan State parks have gotten recently.

Love this gallery! They have lots of natural theme art from local artists. The gallery space is full of natural light and is beautiful. Definitely worth a stop to support Michigan artists.

My daughter and I checked out the lighthouse from what appears to be a new park with a very nice pavilion. It seemed like a popular lunch brake place as many people were in their cars eating. I got some pictures of the light and breakwater and the beach area at the new park had many trees along it, so it has a sort of secluded feeling. It was a nice stop.

I've lived in Manistique for over 40 years and today was the first time I visited the historical park. I was so impressed! The Post House was fantastic! So many fascinating items- some I've never seen before such as the ice box with revolving shelves and the gas stove. I've been to many museums but this has to be one of the best I've seen and even more amazing considering this is a small town. I must compliment the historical society for all the hard work. The volunteers today, Diane at the house and Sherry at the water tower were friendly and informative. There are plans to expand which will make it even better. I would recommend everyone visit, locals and tourists alike. It's free of charge but they do have a donation box .

We went in October which means not many fish to see. There were fish inside and a few in a big pond outside. We liked the yellow fishes that you follow for your self guided tour.

There is a short path through the woods up to a platform that overlooks a very overgrown wetland. You can get glimpses of the river. The walkway was tilted and overgrown. It just looks like it wasn't being maintained very well.

My friend suggested we visit here, I had never been here before (and I've lived in Manistique for almost 40 years!). There's a system of trails, over 80 acres in Manistique Township. There are several different loops with signs and benches if you want to take a rest or just stop to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are also signs explaining the different trees & plants. Bathrooms are available near the parking area. I'm so glad we went and would recommend it to anyone that wants a quiet, peaceful, enjoyable walk.

Just an average small Native American casino. I'd guess about 500 slot machines with no table games. Friendly staff. No frills slots.

This is a classic, old school public golf course. It is well maintained and has beautiful views of Indian Lake. The people were friendly and we really enjoyed playing.

This peaceful beach park has benches to sit and relax, while watching the waves hit the shore, a view of the lighthouse nearby, a picnic area and access to a lakefront trail. We stopped while in a road-trip and enjoyed stretching our legs and walking along this stretch of shoreline.
