What travelers are saying
- Bre BRhode Island111 contributionsBeautiful serene place with a lot of wildlife. Varied ducks, geese, multiple deer, red tail hawks, Northern Harriers and a coyote (yet to be seen by me). A lovely place to walk on well marked trails.Written January 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- harriskathy019Rockland, MA17 contributionsThis is a wonderful take, tour of the Daniel Webster Estate. The grounds are wonderful and the tour guides are very informative. It is a special treat if you participate in their “Tea”. We particularly like the generation tea where my grandchildren attend. Exceptional place with exceptional people. I highly recommend it!!!Written October 21, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tour7526953 contributionsThis family home of the Winslow's has a quiet dignity and certain grace and a special presence in Marshfield and Plymouth Colony history. Its four square construction, ancient Elm tree and period furnishings are unique. On the corner of Careswell and Webster Streets it was built across from Pilgrim Edward Winslow's homestead on an ancient path from Plymouth. The friendly, hardworking and pleasant spirits of our ancestors seem to pervade this lovely antique home. Specious grounds and walking paths abound. It is in the historic triangle of homes including Marcia Thomas and Daniel Webster. Open May to August, weddings and showers can be booked. The Turkey Dinner is not to be missed.Written February 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- dave dBradford, MA321 contributionsOnly about a mile of hiking here but worth the effort. It was cool and dry when we hiked and the woods were beautiful. Some stone walls and a meadow view. The parking area is pretty small, so parking could be an issue on a nice weekend day.Written May 10, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nancy MMassachusetts11 contributionsThe scenery at the sanctuary, acres of wildlife, is healing for the soul. You can see ocean, tidal pools, forest, and a host of wildlife...birds, crabs, I even came face to face with a deer in the late afternoon on a trail.Written November 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - patrattartapMarshfield, MA37 contributionsNice bright new place to try some local brew! Brought my own Growlers to fill up just in case the libations were good! Woops they don't fill any but their own! Their growler is small like a liter! Tried the Folded Space Stout and another version of it with coconut! Both pretty good! Interesting Patrons and a 30th Birthday Party was ongoing! Looked like a Merry Time for All many Families with small Children! Will try again in the warmer months as it has an outdoor patio! I wish them good luck and good cheer!Written February 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
