We go here often and most seasons by boat and love the scenic bends, the flowing water, the rocks for kids to climb and the white sandy beaches above the muddy flats.
I live in KCMO, spend quite a bit of time in SoCal at Pacific Ocean beaches, and love beach vacations to Florida and the Yucatan, but this has to be one my favorite ever.

As beautiful and unique as the rocky beaches are, a sandy beach is still the best...and Good Harbor Beach is by far the best beach in the Rockport / Gloucester area.
I've been to Hawaii and gorgeous beaches in California but there is just something about this beautiful beach that keeps me, all my family and all my friends coming back year after year.

Recommend by our "guide" at the B&B we stayed at, this beach was a great walk, just before high tide and at high tide!

Yes, it is one of the best and popular beaches in the state and the estate is gorgeous too but I want to add that the trails on this property are a gem too - well-marked, well maintained and beautiful.
Since we are able to travel a great deal we are able to make comparisons to a wide variety of beaches and are always finding out how spoiled we are.
