#1 of 2 Museums in Nuuk
The building is unimpressive, but inside it's set up like the world's great museums (in that you have to go through the gift shop to get out).
Loved this museum - as I had little knowledge about Greenland's past and some passion towards archaeology, this museum was a perfect match.
Nuuk Art Museum Nuuk 0.5 km away

This was a step up on the other museums we visited in the smaller settlements.
This is a really interesting museum that bridges the contemporary and older, and presents a very complete picture of Greenlandic culture and history.
#1 of 1 Museums in Nanortalik
The museums are in different houses with different show pieces in each scattered over an area.
Among the buildings is a hilltop porch, reachable by a steep but sturdy ladder, that affords a panoramic view of the museum, the town's church and the modern port town beyond.

The museum is a cultural treasure trove of history and the locals are friendly and keen to know who is visiting.
It's a must visit museum, in that is reportedly gives a good view of life in Greenland.

The museum has incredible memorabilia from the American Air Force Base, Blue West One 1941 - 1958.
This great museum is packed with information about the history of Narsarsuaq and its founding as an American airbase.
