There’s a reason why this show has stood the test of multiple decades. It’s just fun and entertaining AND family friendly.

The music (heavy in percussion of course) is also great. Lots of energy and fun vibes. And, it’s not uncomfortably loud (it’s loud but my ears weren’t ringing afterwards).

We heard much about Packo’s and had to try. The chicken Paprikás was super with large portions. Would have loved to have tried the cabbage rolls but they were out that night.

I love seeing magic and laughing and Trickery Chicago delivered. I was with friends I’d not seen in years and we all loved the space, performer, and show. The theatre seats only 35 guests so magic happens literally under your nose. Comedian/magician Arron is a personable host, and an energetic charismatic entertainer.

The interactive hour show is fast-paced and builds from fun tricks to astounding miracles. During the show you’ll be introduced to Hoppy, a mindreading bunny (sentient -if stuffed) and you’ll witness Elle the pink elephant appear and vanish. It’s clear Aaron is a highly skilled professional who loves his job, theatre, and audiences. His vitality is infectious and he works hard at making impossible things happen, just so you’ll leave scratching your head in wonder when it’s over.

This is entertainment for grown-ups so leave the kids at the hotel, there are some bawdy moments and clever innuendo. The tiny East Lakeview hidden gem offers up a lot of warmth and entertainment at a reasonable cost. You may even BYOB if you like to imbibe.

We went on a Friday night for a bachelor party. There were a few other small groups there. The skits were hilarious and it was great that we (as the audience) got to participate in all the things! The servers were always making sure we had a drink. It was a blast!

I've been a regular at this show for over half a year, and it truly never gets old. What makes it so special is the cast's focus on character. Over the course of the show, you get really attached to the main characters. You care what happens because you care what happens *to them.* It makes for a truly engaging and exciting show, as well as being, you know, absolutely hysterical.

We attended a totally improv show for kids on a recent Saturday morning. Tickets are only $10 and the kids are on-the-stage and helping write the play from the word go. What fun. The actors and musician are quite talented and knock themselves out. If you enjoy live interactive theater and want to introduce your kids or grandkids to it; this is the place - Stage 773 on Belmont.
