Fascinating and informative presentation in a beautifully restored home is a tribute to U Thant and his life’s work. I was not familiar with his career within the UN during a time of global upheavals - very glad I went! Highly recommended

This is a good place but can be expensive. The location is out of central Yangon so you will have to make a trip out to get there but can be done if your visiting Myanamr Plaza.

Unfortunately, when visited during early April, the local staff said it is closed for 4 months for renovation. Went to the restaurant next to it called Morning Star for some breakfast and it was not a disappointment. When it is open again, can combine the visit with the restaurant next to it.

After driving around the neighborhood looking for a sign multiple times, I finally got out of my cab and asked 'where is it?' There is no sign. There is no museum. I think it's a scam just to get you to go to some guy's amber shop. But if there's an amber shop up some apartment building's inside steps, someone else will have to find it. I'm not going in there when the neighbors tell me it doesn't exist and I've just wasted the cab fare to get there.
