    A market for Shopping for gems, clothes and artifacts. centrally located. many shops still remain closed post covid. business doesnt seem to be in full swing since covid started. slowly limping back to normalcy. the authenticity of gems cannot be ascertained. one can get a good price if you are good at bargaining. some shops owned by Indians. good handicrafts and paintings available for sale.

    This is a massive Buddha that is lying down and is absolutely huge !
    Worth a visit and is free entry.Its in a shed and the place is quite odd as the statue is the what the building has been built around.

    This is a quirky old museum that has lots of treasures on 6 floors of artifacts. Alot of it is different and very relevant to the local Burmese culture and traditions. However it is spread out over lots of floors and sections and your could take a day to see the lot if your were interested.

    It is located in Botahtaung township of Yangon. Car-parking is available. Many tourists from Thailand also visit there. Its not very good for photo scene. Its one of the famous pagoda in Yangon.

    This is a must visit place to understand brutality of british and colonial pas. Bahadur Shah Zafar is the last Mughal King. he was been chained and exile to Myanmar from India. He died and buried in the place.

    Good and peaceful place to visit. Buddha statue in sitting position. Unfortunately it was under maintenance when I visited so the statue was completely covered. Enjoy the rare pics.

    Every morning, you will be able to see the morning market selling seafood, poultry, pork, food by along the road. See how the daily life of the local trade. Interesting and this is almost non existence in the develop countries.
