- DennisMcN4 contributionsExcellent trip. Capt; Bill was a great host and gave us an informative tour of the St. Lucie river. Mid trip we stopped at the Port Saint Lucie Botanical Garden. Heather, our docent at the garden, gave us a tour and shared a lot of knowledge of the local plants. We highly recommend this cruise.Written February 18, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Just be nicePort Saint Lucie, FL4 contributionsErinn & crew are awesome ! We celebrated with an amazing sunset cruise for our 30th wedding anniversary with our adult kiddos & grandbaby! Erinn treated us like family. Beautiful sailboat with all the amenities you would ever need ❤️ and a crew that truly cares about your fun & experience. A definite bucket list item and one we will absolutely revisit again ❣️Written December 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ozcreek7 contributionsWe found and booked Honu Charters while already on vacation in Stuart, FL and wanting something more 'gotta get away.' We were lucky they were available post COVID slow spell. I predict that advance reservations will be needed going forward though. This operator will be in high demand.
Our trip was three nights to Key Largo and it was a slam dunk thanks to Captain Dave and Denise. They are both hard working professionals with an inherent love of hospitality and safety.
The Hosts:
Captain's research began right after initial inquiry > call him. He returned with options of trips and timelines after getting a read on the weather and our wants and needs. This continued multi times a day during the trip always using our input. Denise is an encyclopedia of local knowledge, a fab cook and also a captain! Together they delivered to us an A+ experience that I would not have altered in any way. They are fun and happy people and I call them friends now.
The Boat:
So comfy and livable. Lots of modern gizomos. Spacious living quarters. Variety of seating. Frosty cold aircon inside that is adjustable in your quarters.
The Nature:
Key Largo gobsmacked me. Had no idea such a healthy diverse reef existed in the continental US. But that's all I'm going to say about that. I'm going to keep this treasure private like it was when we visited. Felt like it was all ours.Written June 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
