What travelers are saying
- Ramon Ezequiel RBarcelona, Spain34 contributionsI went to the place and they treated me very kindly. I was determined to spend the day at Pinos Island but when I arrived at the site they informed me that the water was contaminated and that they advised against doing so. I was very pleased that they were honest and I have no doubt that I will try to go again.Written August 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Olivia B3 contributionsThis park is a great place to snorkel for good views, but be aware of multiple jellyfish in the water as they are hard to see. As well as paying attention to tides/ currents as it was very strong on this day. Parking is limited but the shade coverage under the bridge is awesome.Written September 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ArielflCoconut Creek, FL2,149 contributionsOcean Reef Park is a beautiful 12.62 acre beach front park in Riviera Beach. The park has 700 feet of life guarded beach, a picnic pavilion, restrooms, picnic tables, grills, showers, playground, and best of all, a large free parking lot. Free beach parking is sadly extinct in Broward County.
Salt water fishing is allowed in the park. Grab a bucket from the cleanup station on the boardwalk and get some exercise picking up trash and leave the beach better than you found it and help sea turtles. The use of balloons in the park is prohibited to protect wildlife. A beach wheelchair can be requested from the lifeguard station.
I loved discovering this tropical oasis. It is perfect for a picnic, swimming, snorkeling, and laying out on the beach. If I am going to enjoy a relaxing beach day I prefer to go to north. This park is going to be added to the favorites rotation. If you want even more great snorkeling, Phil Foster park at the base of the bridge is only a short drive away. Along with Peanut Island, this area has a fantastic selection of ways to enjoy Palm Beach aquatic recreation.Written October 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
