This was awesome! It's a whole day trip from Orlando to Crystal River. City Sightseeing Orlando makes all the arrangements, including the bus that takes everyone to Crystal River. They were great!
Swimming with Manatees...yes! This is in a harbor/cove where the Manatees naturally habitat. Very safe, and very amazing! The outfitter takes small portions of the group out on pontoon boats, where they provide snorkel and mask (you are still required to rent the wetsuit for a very reasonable price), and locate the Manatees. Yes, you are right there swimming alonside the Manatees in their natural habitat.
Airboat Ride...bring a camera if you have never seen the natural beauty of the Florida wetlands, while enjoying a fun ride on an airboat. The guide took us to places where we saw deep forested trees, lots of wildlife, oh yea, and a gator or two. Also...you may get a little wet on the ride, those boats are fun!
I went with my wife and a couple of close friends, and we all loved this trip and were amazed with what we got for the price. We all would 100% recommend this package and City Sightseeing Tour.
