They had several landings and one was for nude sunbathers! Clean well kept facilties. Nice handicap accessible ramps for viewing sunrise. Sand looked like brown sugar and cool shells. Recommend next time you are at the Eastern Space Coast of Florida.

We love this little beach town! It is a very restaurant rich environment so it makes dining hard to choose. Love the beaches, just stunning! My happy place!

Nice place to hike but especially for the best waves in the area! Good surfing spot but an excellent boogie boarding spot for experienced boogie board riders.

I was part of the HERITAGE DAY, April 6, 2024. Several hundred flocked to the Museum site on 120 Sams Avenue to stroll through the Museum free of charge, partake of a tour of the interior of the building, hearing of its fascinating history and enjoying the integrally involved tented displays on Sams Avenue. I can see that there is enormous pride in being a member of this organization. After all it is the THIRD oldest city in Florida with a story of being settled in 1768 by the LARGEST group of Europeans in all of early American history. Tours were held giving an overview of the fascinating history of how Scotland and England worked to sign up 1,003 peoples to work as Indentured Servants in what would be one of the largest Indigo growing settlements in the pre-Revolutionary War era of America's beginnings.

Lifelong Floridians and never visited Historic Downtown New Smyrna. We were lucky enough to visit on a Saturday during their Christmas in July event along Canal Street. So, in addition to all the brick and mortar stores, we were able to visit the many vendors setup on the street.
Very beautiful street and downtown area, well maintained with a variety of stores, restaurants, etc. great day trip for us.
    Highly recommend.

We stopped by here a few times over our summer vacation. Very nice place located near the KSC area. Very unique and old school.

Very nice beach town. Great restaurants. Beautiful beaches. Attractions close by also. Several state parks close by worth the drive.

After searching for parking for nearly half an hour, we finally ended up here! The area is booming with shops and restaurants. We spent the day at the beach. We were here on a Saturday and it was pretty crowded but still very nice. Get there early in the morning or you will not be able to park on the beach. It’s nice to have bathrooms but they were nasty!

We visit NSB a few times a year. We always feel welcome here for services. The architecture and the main stained glass window alone warrant a visit.

Here’s where you go to get away from crowds. Easy parking, clean restrooms and miles of beach to walk…or just sit and enjoy the view. Excellent facilities.

It’s the “official” start of the cross Florida bike trail which, unfortunately, is not complete on the roadway to the beach and doesn’t really start until the Brewer Bridge. The beach is unspoiled and simply beautiful. Nice parking and restroom facilities at the cross overs. Easy drive over from Orlando.
    Enjoy!

I have been one of the volunteers at Eldora House for over a decade now. Spending time learning the history of the former village and its industries has been an exciting adventure for me and I love to share with our visitors. Getting locals to volunteer is always a goal for the park staff and if there were more, Eldora House would be open more often.
