A beautiful place, amazing artworks. Too bad a section is closed for renovations. It’s worth taking some time to visit the neighbourhood, where you’ll see many other paintings, also inside courtyards

We loved the museum and gardens and stayed several hours longer than originally planned. It was like traveling back in time to another time and place.

Good mall for rainy day. Lots of stores repeat, but there was a good variety. Mall is larger than it looks! There is also a movie theater and food court.

I saw lots of animals like the Cuban crocodile, giraffes, anacondas, frogs, sea turtles, and much more. It was an awesome experience that I would like to repeat again one day. Even though I had to walk a lot to get to see every single animal within the zoo, my family and I loved it so much that we want to be there again. The habitat of every animal is unique and is very well adapted for them to live in. The map that is supplied to you when you come into the zoo helps you to not get lost because it's a huge place. It's normal to not know where to go exactly when it's the first time you have been in there. Nevertheless, the map is located at every part of the zoo so you can use it as a reference of where exactly you are and where exactly to go. For those reasons and more, I love this place.

If you're in Miami, Little Havana is an absolute must-see! The moment I stepped into this vibrant neighborhood, I was immersed in the lively Latin music and the incredible atmosphere. The whole area is full of energy and good vibes.

One of the highlights was the amazing food—tasty, authentic Cuban flavors that really hit the spot! I also loved the quirky, giant chicken sculptures that seem to pop up on every corner, adding a fun and unique touch to the area.

Make sure to grab a refreshing mojito while you're there—it’s the perfect way to cool off while soaking in the sights. Watching people hand-roll cigars was a fascinating experience. The craftsmanship and skill involved are truly impressive, and it’s such a cool part of the local culture.

Overall, Little Havana offers an unforgettable blend of music, food, and culture. Definitely worth checking out when you're in Miami!

Excellent spot with its art themed large streets and food heaven in Miami. Contemporary art as it's finest, best creativity murals as you can enjoy.

We rode the trolley the full loop through little Havana so we could get a good idea of the layout and offerings. This is a good option to get a fairly quick overview of an area. It’s free so you can’t be too picky. The ride was a little rough and both trolley’s we rode, could use a cleaning. If you’re looking for a tour, this is not it. This is basic transportation.

I visited here both days I was in Miami. It’s a nice spot to walk but it’s not a huge area. It leads to Bayside Marketplace from downtown and overlooks the water and port. There was some evidence of rough sleeping in the park but that’s not a shock and it wasn’t intrusive.

Ball park was nice. Not as fancy as I had imagined but nice. Easy to get to. You could park one block from the stadium in someone’s yard for $20.

While my first visit was just me, I can easily picture this museum as a great conversation starter between parents/grandparents and kids about the past and what it was like to be Black in 20th century Miami. The reconstructed holding cells and courtroom put you at the scene and provide insta-moments. Plenty of text explains the context (including what typical crimes were, like swearing). Glass cases contain police attire, badges , significant correspondence. It can be overwhelming at times to read and understand it all, but Larry did a great job of answering my questions. I’ll be back for the upcoming exhibit and live talk during Art Basel on an inmate’s quilting, which sounds promising!

I like to check out a nice residential area when I go to a new city--just to get a feel for the place. Coconut Grove was a nice respite from the high rise condo feel that predominates in much of the city. It has a good neighborhood vibe and makes for a nice stroll.

First off, this is a good rainy day activity.  The two kids we brought really enjoyed it.  That said, the museum does not have the most inviting entrance area.  It's a narrow hallway with steep walls so you feel a little intimidated, then opens to the first room with a billion kids.  Once you get over it, it's a pretty good experience.  It's deceptively large with lots of things to do.  You can easily spend 4 or 5 hrs here.  It is expensive and a little run down and ultimately 3.5 stars is more accurate.  You have to pay for parking which is a private lot just for the museum.  They have a subway on-site that can hold very few people and by the end of the day was dirty.  We did have a good time, but just a lot of drawbacks. That said it is a fun thing to do especially on a rainy day.

Options for getting from POM to MIA airport vary; cruise lines offer a shuttle bus (NCL charges $25/pp) or Uber ($15 late morning on day we checked). For more than 1 person Uber definitely is the way to go.
Additionally, if your destination is the rental car center at the airport-> take an Uber. Cruise ship shuttle doesn’t stop at the rental car location so we got dropped off at American Airlines terminal and had to traverse interminable moving walkways before……..we got to a train stop, which finally got us to Budget RAC. With all our travel luggage this was a major schlep. Uber would have taken us directly to rental car center.
