What travelers are saying
- Roman Barreda1 contributionThis place is the best, food, drinks, games are very cool. Went there after a 2 years and the place has really stepped up their game. If you want to play somewhere and you don't know where to go, this is the place.Written March 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sharee B7 contributionsI crossed this item off my bucket list finally and it was so much fun! The instructors were great and really knew what they were doing. Marc and his team were great and very patient with all of us. My husband was a little worried at first, but after the first time flying, he was hooked and couldn't get enough! Overall, it was just an amazing experience and we had a great time! Very memorable and exciting. If you are in Miami and haven't done this yet, you are losing out! Thanks Marc and team for the experience!Written November 25, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- jacam783Tavernier, FL19 contributionsI have had several birthday parties (4 or more mow) for my son here, but each year I find less and less value. Spent $500 (10 people) and is was just ok. They say 90% of games work with timed access cards but I swear it seems more and more games are not included, or at least Most of the cool games. And many games we used to enjoy are now gone. Not sure if its new management or what. Just not as great, had a birthday room with food for just one hour this time and food was late. I gave a three because staff was good / and not understaffed which was good and place is big and theres not many choices,.,,.Service was overall good (except the lateness) and booking agent was quick and efficient, but also a few games not working. Just had no wow factor. Management needs to really look at how many games are red cards only now! Greedy I suspect. Thats the worse thing, i walked around and really couldnt think of anything i wanted to even
Play that was available....And had to also wait, we were there on a Saturday and on timed play and had to wait alot for lots of games, etc.Written June 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Let's first talk about how much I dig the name. Clever. It had been a while since I heard the word, "Poppet". Very cool. This is a lovely place to bring your little one(s) and yourself if in the mood to make, paint, build, mix, paste, draw and dream.
The space is clean...bright and warm and has a very inviting vibe. Remember as a kid when you'd stand in an aisle of a store and depending on what your art drug of choice is (crayons, markers, paint, clay...), you'd think about all of the cool things you could do or make with the various materials that stood waiting of you to unwrap them? Well here it it is. An open space with a giant erase board begging for some cool graffiti,a magnet board with tubes and balls and cups and other fun things to hold and touch, nice big tables of glue, fun fuzzy balls, googly eyes and pipe cleaners...another table with the fun scientific makings of silly putty or "elephant toothpaste", several hip looking easels with paper and paint just begging for a bebe to have a seat and create...a great area with hot glue, wheels and other cool gear with which to fashion something cool...and the greatest table holding sensory water beads which of course both the tiniest kid and biggest adult can dig.
Don't feel like doing art and need to chill while bebe makes art? There are seats available to watch and take it all in.
Natalie and Jana are wonderful and do such a great job of balancing the running of it all while managing to be very hands on as they help guide the scene and provide great ideas. One of the nicest characteristics about The Poppet Project is the fact that everyone has an opportunity to experience the media regardless of age, gender or ability. The variety of offerings meet various developmental levels. How nice to find a place where color, gender, age and all of the other unimportant identifying labels (that have become so burdensome) matter not.
Just come and do.
Poppet Project is priced based on increments of time spent in the studio and is closed on Tuesdays. FYI re parking--your best bet is to park in that lot of antique stores located on Biscayne between 86th and 87th streets.

- Vasja R27 contributionsIt is a classic place where the locals do the birthdays partys. It is clean and cheap and kids really enyoy. For the parents there is more or less nothing but we didn't expect this so its ok.Written March 5, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jamie KChicago, IL13 contributionsSeriously the most fun thing we did in Miami, including over parasailing!!! This was one of the funnest things I have done EVER. The staff was incredibly accommodating and fun....the games were super cool and diverse, and overall this was definitely the best decision I made while staying in Miami of things to do. DO NOT MISS YOUR CHANCE TO GO HERE!!!Written October 7, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Abel RMiami, FL762 contributionsI'm a horror fan and I love the supernatural. So for my birthday my friends and I decided to do a haunted maze and boy did we have a blast. The staff there were amazing and super nice. I told the guy at the counter it was my birthday and he let me go in 3 times with my friends. You go as a group and since our group was large we had to make 3 separate groups. The maze is pitch dark and you have to make your way to the end. Keeps all your senses engaged and alert. Best haunted house maze I ever been through. It was a lot of fun. Definitely you should check them out.Written March 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- globetrottheworldLexington, MA202 contributionsThis isn't far from Miami/Kendall and an easy one to do if you are going to Everglades or even Biscayne. If you are interested in Go Karting or even if you haven't done it before (like we hadn't), consider this. The rate is fairly reasonable - $25 for a race which takes around 8 minutes. Trust me it is enough, or you can have two. The people there are friendly and patient and encouraging and even took our photos and videos on our asking.
We thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend anyone to do this, especially in a family or friends group would be even more fun!Written April 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They also have different weapons besides an axe to throw. 10/10 worth it. - Sonnia GThe Hammocks, FL39 contributionsSuper outdated and run down but still a total blast especially for the kids. Brings back many memories of my teenage years. The price is alright but if they would remodel or update this location it would be much more popular. My kids go every week with their summer camp and they don't have any complaints but We were there 2 weeks ago for a Birthday party and we were disappointed in the appearance. The party was cute and the chicken wings and onion rings were really good but I felt it could have been so much better. And yes the ladies bathroom was pretty hideous. What a shame. I would hate for this place to shut down. Hopefully they will do something about the deteriorating conditions.Written July 22, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
