A nice monument to friendship, in front of Bayside Marketplace. Not worth a special trip, but do pop and see it if you are in the area.

I stumbled across the monument while looking for the Bay of Pigs museum (which is about 10 minutes away). It’s a great tribute to those who lost their lives and especially poignant given it’s location in the Little Havana district of Miami. It’s about a minutes walk from the Bus Tour stop on 8th Street

So I and Little Havana you will find some huge roosters along the street.

I personally found three, two are right next to each other on one side by a bar and restaurant, and then there is another one by itself on the other side a few blocks down.

These are beautifully decorated roosters with a lot of history.

Several monuments in the park including one to the Bay of Pigs Invasion. Not a high water mark of US diplomacy but fighters did sacrifice for independence from the communist regime.
