It has clean sand with amenities like beach chairs, umbrellas and sports equipment rentals. There are restrooms, showers, metered parking and a slew of restaurants, drinking spots and shops alongside. Much to see if you choose not to swim in the clear waters. Notable police, canine and park presence. I'm sure it is a different environment during non - Spring Break weeks...Written 11 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Patrick MNewark, DE1,058 contributionsWe stopped here via water taxi and strolled around the park. Saw some parrots, and other birds. Stopped by the restaurant for a d rink. They do have kayaks, canoes, etc. for the lake. You can also rent beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach as well. If you need a little nature in your life stop here.
The good thing about this park is it is only $6 to park here for the day and there is beach access to Fort Lauderdale beach. Come early though as the line get long.
