- Yvonne C13 contributionsWicked Dolphin was a nice surprise. This was the first time we have gone to a distillery. We picked this tour because it was rum. Coconut and mango are my favorites. Enjoyed the tour and the rum tasting.Written 7 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- victormar21Plainfield, IL13 contributionsCape Coral nice place to stay. City is recovering from storm damage but restaurants and stores are open for business.Written 6 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lou vieceliChicago, IL2 contributionsThe farmers market is a must, some of the best freshest vegetables and fruit I have ever had. I highly recommend the freshly made guacamole booth and the blue crab dip from them is the best.Written 5 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PerfectAlibi98 contributionsThis was a great walk. About 2 miles. Mostly board walk type. Mostly shaded. Nice little open air visitor center as well as armed forces monuments. Great spots for pictures. Would recommend for a shaded walk.Written 6 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AimeeCarroll, OH3 contributionsWe had plans to visit family in the area and were looking for something to do the day before when we arrived in the Cape Coral area. My hubby and I saw this recommended on Trip Advisor so we thought we try it. Hope, our docent was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of the city. The story of Cape Coral’s founding would make a great movie. I would highly suggest stopping in if you have an hour or two of free time.Written 9 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ElletravellerNorthville, MI62 contributionsVery nice environmental center and layout of place. So many different activities could happen here: A nature center, picnicking, dog park, remote trails, lookout tower, benches to sit and think on, butterfly enclosure, plants with descriptive signage...
Good walking trails (and some into the mangroves that were too muddy and narrow and so we didn't go...)
There is also a wonderful boardwalk on the road towards the Westin that is fun and ends up at the water's edge...saw many species of wildlife from that dock...
Both areas of the park--loved the wildlife we saw.
Some things are a bit worn down from so much use; we also saw garbage people just threw or left...always amazed at how humans can destroy the look of a place so thoughtlessly.Written 21 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is also jewelry and small gift items for purchase.Written 31 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bethany L2 contributionsGiving it a 4 because we had a lot of fun, BUT…there were some issues. We arrived (on vacation) at 11 when the park opened, having previously bought tickets online. Were told only 1/2 the rides were open until 2. We made the best of it but the 2 slides and small pool area that were open were PACKED with too many people. The remaining 2 slides opened at 3pm and the lazy river opened at 2. Not enough tubes for lazy River or slides, we waited over 30 minutes for a tube to ride a slide and then waited in line for the slide. All said and done, we were there from 11-5 and rode everything at least once and child was happy and had a great day. So…I call that a win! I just really think the park needs to state that only half the park is opening ON THE WEBSITE and allow discounted tickets to be bought online. We were told we will receive 1/2 our money back but it has not shown up on CC card yet.Written 7 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ginny MGreenville, OH43 contributionsWe visted the park with our family. It is a pleasant place for children to play and for parents and family to visit. Storms were in the area when we where there and the shut down the play ground to protect those there. Good minitry for the Church.Written 23 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Matt MCape Coral, FL504 contributionsA great place to walk the boardwalk through the trees and out through the mangroves to the river. The memorials here are a great tribute to our military including WWII Iwo Jima statue, Iraqi War statue, Korean War monument, a Merchant Marine monument, and now the new location for the Vietnam memorial.Written 10 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Isabel FCape Coral, FL1,325 contributionsA lovely neighborhood park. We had to drive 20 minutes from Northeast Cape Coral but I wanted to check it out. It's a lovely short walk fully paved and would accommodate strollers or wheelchairs. There were a few people fishing at one end, no luck that day. It was a lovely morning cool but with a hot sun so of course the weather was perfect. There is a lot of construction still on what looks like utilities so it was not busy. There were locals taking walks and enjoying the weather. It doesn't take a lot of time if you just want a quick outing from 30 minutes to an hour.Written 29 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OnlyMeDSWEau Claire, WI453 contributionsA nice Monday morning drive. We crossed over to the island and drove down to Saint James City and then on up to Bokeelia. Damage from the hurricane is very evident on the island but the recovery is underway. Plenty of shops to stop at and some restaurants are open. The island has many farm fields and feels more rural than a tropical island.Written 8 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jackpat302Cape Coral, FL18 contributionsMany games played in a session. Game play almost every day of the week - afternoon and evening. Payouts are excellent.
