Amazing spot to tent camp. Highly suggest. Very quiet campground (at least in the tent camp area). Lots to do outdoors in the area. Beautiful place.

This has to be one of the most unique beer gardens I've found in Florida. It doesn't seem so big from the outside but there is plenty of space inside. There is a large outdoor area and the night we were there they had a great band playing. If you're looking for unique craft beers, this is the place. Who would think that a blueberry beer would be so good. Great food and great people taking care of you. I'll be back.

A family owned and operated farm. Originally I had bagged a lot of the bi-color corn because in past experience it tasted better. However, the owner, David, told me I should get more of the yellow corn. It was literally the sweetest and most tender corn I have ever eaten. I highly recommend going there and I will be back myself.

My husband and I visited on a Sunday afternoon. Garry led us on a tour of the house and was a wealth of knowledge about the family and the development of this part of Florida. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours!

Bird feeders by the visitor center. Love to watch the birds. Took the short trail to the lake. The lake was dry and overtaken by vegetation. So sad!

DO NOT MISS this wonderful farm/distillery. Spend the afternoon in this well cared-for outdoor space. Open on Sat/Sun, check social media for food trucks, music and special events. Fun lawn games are available for you to enjoy with your full-bar service beverage. Don't miss the distillery tour and purchase of whiskey, rum and other goodies. It was a very pleasant afternoon and I cannot wait to return!

The greatest and the staff are wonderful. Lots of activities and shady walking trails. There's always something going on and more activities are planned.

Hernando County Library staff members are amazing! No matter how obscure or rare a book or item is that you are looking for, they will help find the item. They're always friendly and inviting and the libraries are a treasure trove of fun activities, databases, and resources.

We stayed a weekend at Mutual Mine recently. It was my first experience boondocking and I was a little hesitant. But I have to say, it was great! It was so quiet and peaceful, with lots of room between our campsite and the adjoining ones. There are no pets permitted at all on the 13 campsites. Each site has a fire ring, picnic table, and water spigot. The camp host (I think his name was Marty) was so kind and easy going. The only down point is you can hear a lot of highway noise. Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time because you need the gate code to get in! We will definitely be back!
