My grandchildren (ages 14 and 12) oohed and ahhed all through the greenhouses--so excited to see everything. Logee's has been calling to me for 30 or 40 years, and I finally made the short trip there. Many (!) years ago my daughter gave me a plant (a cape primrose?) from there and it is still thriving and producing babies. I learned during my visit that those are valuable. My daughter ordered the plant while in California, and was surprised to learn that the company is almost a neighbor of ours.
Logee's is a delightful place to visit, especially on a cold winter day.

This place is tiny and makes amazing beer. The location; town is quaint and old New England. If you’re a brewery fan then you need to go. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful lake to relax and enjoy. Right behind my future sister in law’s house. My fiancé’s family showed us this treasure. After crazy days of long drives to the ocean in providence and having to wait for parking at the beach and charging a ridiculous amount of money. Had we known about this relaxing lake earlier when we got here from Canada. We would have just relaxed here for most of our time.

This is a fun hike and great with a couple of dogs. It is a wooded walk with some elevation as you walk along a high cliff, around a pond and over brooks. It is very pretty.
Bridges and walksways are built over wet locations. Locals seem to know it for some mountain biking and cliff climbing. Highly recommend for families and easy hikes.

Ross's Pond State Park shares a looped trail system with Old Furnace State Park. Great northern and easterly views from the cliffs. Be aware there are no handrails or guards on cliffs.

Our family/friends went to the Mayan Curse Room this weekend. Even with 4- 10 year olds, 2 teens and 2 adults with all felt challenged and were able to participate in solving the mystery. Everyone felt engaged and able to work together despite varying age levels in our group. The clues were so well crafted and organized. It is the best locked room I have been to. The room host was great, his fun personality added a nice bonus to our experience.

This amazing book shop is filled with scores of wonderful gently-used books of many genres, something for everyone from classic novels to children's. The staff are warm, welcoming and well-versed. The location if excellent on Main Street, ample parking nearby. It's a real plus for the larger community and a boost to the downtown area.

My friend and I participated in a goat yoga event here. Sherry, the instructor, did a great class despite all the shenanigans with the goats. Michelle opened her property to us and was the best host. She made sure we all had goat time and pictures. We had an amazing time and will definitely do this again.
